Other Feng Shui Tips

Feng Shui is an Asian system of well-being that is spreading like wildfire across the globe. Just rearranging a few key pieces of furniture can promote good energy and happiness in your home. Below, find a few quick tips for creating a Feng Shui home.
Your bedroom is for sleep (and only sleep)
Many people literally live in their bedroom. They have their exercise equipment, Yoga mats and television all crammed into this one space. To promote energy flow, remove any excessive items from your bedroom; this includes TVs and computers.
Keep the air flowing
This is not just a Feng Shui tip, but also a good idea. Open the windows in your bedroom often to keep the air fresh, flowing and full of oxygen. If it is too cold outside, just open the windows and leave the room for a while. The fresh air does wonders for the feel of the room and gets rid of bad smells along the way. If it is too hot out, just wait until night, and open the windows then. Simply circulating the air with a fan is not enough.
The images and colors you display in your bedroom
Just because a picture looks cool, does not mean it is a good idea to put it up in your bedroom. For the best energy flow, hang up images of things that bring you happiness or things you wish could happen. Too many negative images can ruin the good energy in your bedroom.
Feng Shui is truly catching on with the world's population. Whether it works or not is a matter of debate, but millions of people swear by it, and that is certainly reason enough to give it a try.
